✨ Meet David — Rooted in Stars, Soil, and Spirit
I’m David Sussberg — an Astrologer, Educator, and Regenerative Land Consultant passionate about helping people and landscapes thrive. My work weaves together spiritual insight, Indigenous wisdom, and ecological stewardship, grounded in both personal experience and formal education.
As a double amputee and burn survivor, my life has been shaped by resilience, transformation, and sacred service. For over two decades, I’ve walked between worlds—teaching regenerative agriculture, practicing Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and offering astrology rooted in Evolutionary and Mayan lineages.
My life journey is rooted in hands-on experience and a deep reverence for Traditional Ecological Knowledge, cultivated through farming with the Kichwa in Ecuador, the Pehuenche in Chile, and the Zapotec in Mexico. My work includes teaching agroecology in Oaxaca, mentoring Mayan youth in traditional Mayan herbal medicine in the Yucatán, and teaching Regenerative Native Agriculture at Blackfeet Community College and in New Mexico. Most recently, I served as the Regenerative Agriculture Lead Instructor at the Center of Excellence for Regenerative Native Agriculture, a program of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska. In this role, I provided technical assistance to Native and non-Native farmers and ranchers across 16,000 acres, co-designed culturally relevant agricultural curriculum, and co-led regional soil health workshops hosted by the Iowa Tribe, the Comanche Nation, and the Kiowa Tribe.
These experiences opened my heart and deepened my understanding of how the cycles of nature and the cosmos are intertwined with human growth. At the center of everything I do is a belief in cultivating alignment—within ourselves, with the Earth, and with the greater cycles that guide our lives. Whether through the stars or the soil, I am passionate about helping others walk a positive, empowered path forward.
I hold a Master of Science in Science Education from Montana State University and a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems from UC Santa Cruz. My academic path has always paralleled my heart path—fusing ecological knowledge, cultural understanding, and cosmic insight into everything I offer.
